Children's Worship

Children of any age are always welcome into worship at Otterbein. There are activity bags located on the welcome tables in the back of the sanctuary to keep little ones entertained. There is a rocking Chair in the back right-hand corner of the Sanctuary, and a changing table is located in the room to the right off the Narthex.

Children's Church is held during our regular worship service every Saturday and Sunday. This is a fun and welcoming time where kids learn about God’s love through age-appropriate Bible stories, discussion, music, prayer, and hands-on activities. Each class includes a Bible lesson designed to help children understand and apply Scripture in everyday life, along with a craft, game, or interactive activity that reinforces the lesson in a creative and engaging way. Our goal is to help children grow in faith, build friendships, and experience the joy of learning about Jesus in a safe and encouraging environment.

Communion is the first weekend of every month. At Otterbein, we do not have a certain age or any requirements before a child can participate in communion. The decision is up to the parents when the child is ready to begin taking part in communion.
